This unique vest is designed to be a comfortable, casual vest to be worn with jeans or slacks. It is designed using measurements from men’s patterns, but can be worn obviously by a male or a female.
This vest is made using our navasode fabric, one of our earliest Whispirit creations. This fabric is a natural medium fawn undyed fiber with a sage green thick n thin yarn felted in a wavey design. The vest is lined with a rayon lining and has either four *S and M) or five (L and XL) silvery western style buttons. The buttons are on the right side of vest, in the manner typical of men’s fashions. The back is a matching rayon with a simple tie to better fit the vest to your waist.

Description
Most of our vest fabrics are made from 80% alpaca from our herd and 20% merino wool from other US herds. We hand felt our fabrics at our ranch in our fabric design center using an American-made FeltLOOM. We also use hand-dyed fabrics to create unique looks. The black, grey, fawn, brown and white fabrics you see are the natural colors of our herd, which we breed and raise for their highest quality, luxurious alpaca fleece.
The lightweight, almost airy feel of our inner wear fabrics come from a single layer of felted alpaca. Inner weight can be worn on cool days, or inside in air-conditioned environments, without the wearer overheating. Outer weight fabrics are thicker, with three layers of felted alpaca, but with the lack of bulk that alpaca is known for. Outer weight is suitable for cooler temperatures, and without the bulk of thicker wool fabrics or down feathers.
We embellish some of our fabrics using hand-dyed yarns and silks. When we seek out unusual and creative buttons, clasps and other embellishments for our alpaca jackets, we source them from local handcrafters wherever possible. Each jacket is unique; no two are alike.
